Take her to another doctor, and ask about PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder), a severe form of PMS. Antidepressants can help a lot, or herbal remedies like evening primrose oil or St. John's Wort.

Re: my daughter suffers with pmt

hi there, here are a few ideas for your daughter, flaxssed oil, anything with omega-3 fatty Acids in them, like starfloweroil and evening primrose oil capsules 1300mg, Agnus-castus from any health shop, helps pms like symptons, it has been shown to suppress appetite relieve depression and improve sleep, but it may take several months to work, also B6 tablets [ brewers yeast ] from any health shop, she must also try and stop the fizzy drinks, wheat if possible, cut down on as much suger as possible, i know this is hard to do, and keep to, but they say alot of p.m.s is to do with the diet,
i hope some of this information helps

Agnus Castus (in tablet/pill form) - takes a few weeks before one notices a change BUT... GOD's Gift for me

I also take St. John's Wort

and cut out Soda (Drink bottled water and eat salads with lowfat dressings etc, you have to cut out a lot of the crap food and eat naturally, that really has an influence too)

Try it and report back

You have to find healthy alternatives, caffeine and pop is like pms/pmdds best friend (in a negative sense)
