HPV transmision

Hi guys, I was infectet with hpv 4 years ago, had penile warts that took 1 year to clear. My question is, is it possible that by kissing my girlfriend for her to get mouth warts? What about if we have unprotected sex? Thanks!

Re: HPV transmision

HPV is transmitted by bodily fluids and by touching the infected area. Even if you are not currently having a wart showing, if one is 'brewing" you are contagious. YES you can give it to her by touching her face if you have touched yourself and have the virus (warts are a virus) on your hands. Yes, she can get warts anywhere. The most common way she can get it is by oral sex or by having unprotected sex.
