    HSIL dysplasia HPV

    Hi
Hoping to get some sort of reassurance here or just someone to talk to,
I had a pap last week. Came back abnormal and dr said it was high risk and severe dysplasia. He said at some point I was exposed to HPV. I go in for a colposcopy on Monday. Iím confused because he said all my test results from exactly 1 year ago were normal, Iím not sure how I could go from all negative to completely positive and this severe in a year!
Anyone else go through this? Heís already talking to me about needing a LEEP procedure.
    Thank you.
