Unhappy LSIL diagnosis after 3+yrs abnormal paps

So I just got diagnosed with low grade squamous intraepithelial cells mild dysplasia. Went in for the colpo and biopsy after that diagnosis a month ago and today it was confirmed. The doctor said to come back in a year and be healthy. The thing I'm worried about is the abnormal bleeding I've had for years now, and the intense pains that have accompanied it. I've also had abnormal paps since before I was sexually active (by choice...) and can remember getting a confirmed abnormal pap as far back as 4 years ago. Everyone keeps telling me any abnormal bleeding or pain is due to my Mirena IUD, but I'm not so sure. No one else seems concerned about this. Should I be?
