    Question Hysterectomy or not?

Yes, I'm hoping to find someone out there that can help me make a decision. I have a surgery scheduled for mind August for a hysteroscopy-simple scraping of uterus/cervix. However, my problems have gotten worse and I've been considering a hysterectomy now for a couple of weeks. I've already had fibroids removed, I can't have children and I believe this will work better than what I originally had planned.

My doctor doesn't seem 100% on board, but, she doesn't seem opposed to it either. She said it was my choice and if that's the case, then I want the hysterectomy.

I had a total hysterectomy at age 39 because of fibroids and endometriosis. I'm 65 now and haven't regretted one day.

I'm just going to stand my ground with my doctor and tell her a hysterectomy is what I want. I'm in my 40's, but, I don't want to go through another surgery in a few years if it shouldn't work (the myomectomy). I'm not sure, I'll do a total, unless she puts it out there. I haven't been dx with endo, but, I sure in heck do have a lot of the signs.
