djl:
Thanks so much for your continued support...I knew I could count on you. I actually already have a prescription for Xanax that I've needed on occasion for panic attacks. When I told my gynecologist the Ambien wasn't covered, she just told me to take the Xanax my GP had prescribed. I have been a little worried about building a tolerance for Xanax, because I really need it to work for my panic attacks...but I guess if it's okay with my doctors, I'll take it more often. My prescription is .5 mg. every 4 hours as needed, but I've tried to keep it to only two pills per week and I break them in half.
Anyway, if you think the low dose of estrogen won't cause me any troubles I guess I'll ask for it. I can always stop if I don't like it, right?
I'm going to see my GP to ask for a colonoscopy, but I'm waiting to finish my dental work...I had to have a root canal and I'm waiting for a crown. It's always something...I feel like I'm falling apart...lol! My abdomen still hurts, but it seems like it's a little better. I'll bet it's IBS...I just need to make sure it's nothing more serious. I still want to be checked for hernia too. Ugghh! Thanks again djl!
Any other opinions on add-back estrogen are welcome, or how long we have hot flashes.
