    Bleeding: Post Vaginal Hyst
    I was wondering how long others bled for after a vaginal hysterectomy. My surgery was 5 weeks ago and I am still bleeding bright red. Just enough to wear light day pads. How long did you all bleed for?

    Hi Becky!

    I just had my two week follow up today and my doctor said to expect light bleeding for another week or so. Do you have another follow up scheduled any time soon?

    No I don't have any more post op appointments. I had a couple of differant infections and she did say my healing is a few weeks behind so i guess i should be patient for a few more weeks then call her.
