    Talking Weak immune system?

    Hi,

I am a 26 year old currently being investigated for recurrent shingles. I have just had some blood results posted to me from the immunologist. Immunoglobulins were normal except IgE was high (I have multiple allergies). HIV test was negative.

Full blood count showed high WBC and neutrophils and low lymphocytes. A lymphocyte panel was also carried out which showed low cd3, cd8 and cd19.

The consultant has said in his letter that we will repeat the T cell test at my next appointment which is in 6 months time.

Is this okay to just leave it until then? Bearing in mind I am currently suffering from yet another virus.

What do these results mean and what can be done about them?

    Thanks
