Nocturnal Enuresis
I am 46. Age 20, or 21, nocturnal enuresis began out of the blue. Hadn't been sick, no Diabetes, no kidney problems, hadn't given birth, and didn't take prescription medications. Rarily took OTC Tylenol for headache. Awhile after it started, I noticed, the NE didn't an doesn't occur every night. Prescribed Desmopressin, then Ditropan. Neither medicines resolved my issue. Read about possible causes, and 1 that stood out, Secondary Parasomnia, a sleep disorder. Secondary, as it will happen awhile, then stop for a period of time, but returns. Also, I never know when it will happen. In 2016, I became severely ill with a Staph infection. One of my Dr's told me my Creatine level was dangerously elevated, yet normalized by me pushing water. June 2018, a Dr referred me to an Oncologist Hematologist, because my Spleen was slightly enlarged. On a US, it showed my left kidney to be larger than my right kidney. The Dr told me it probably was a congenital birth defect. Had 1 UTI, which was around Thanksgiving 2013. At a loss of which way to turn. It is embarrassing and humiliating! Has this happened to anyone and what would be a plan of action to find the cause so I can treat?
