Is The HSG Dye test painful? My experience

Just had my Hsg test done for the second time and would like to share my experience with you all. The first one I had was in a hospital and it was the most painful experience I ever had with a procedure. I was screaming for them to take out the catheter as they had me turning from side to side while taking the pictures and I dont know what labor feels like but Thats what it seemed like. But then about a year later I still wasent getting pregnant so I went to a fertility specialist and he said he also wanted to do one. My first instinct was to run out the door cause I swore I would never do it again but they told me they heard many horror stories and I had nothing to worry about there because they had it down to a science and they also did it right there at the office. I was petrified going in but it was NOTHING like the first one I had. It was slight cramping when they put the catheter in and when they injected the dye more slight cramps and it was over. I didnt even have to move side to side while they did it and it was very state of the art there. So I recomend going to a specialist not your obgyn and not in a hospital.
