    Re: Vestibular neuritis

Hi Joe and Happy Thanksgiving to you. I suffer from vestibular problems too. I get sever vertigo and my balance is off too. There are times when it feels like I am moving when
I am not or it feels like the room spins or if I am laying on a bed it moves when of course they are not. Terrible feeling. I also have the ringing in my ears and lots of pressure in my head. Sometimes my scalp is sore to touch with no explanation. It hurts sometimes just to move my hair. I went to a Neurologist and a ENT Specialist. I was diagnosed with Vestibular Disorder.
    What Doctor/Doctors have you seen?

Joe they told me it could be viral which is another way of saying they don't know what causes it and if it will ever get better or go away. Mine in time ( over 5 years now) has either gotten better or I have learned to deal with it. Not sure which. Some days are worse than others. I have had so many tests I cant remember all of them. I try avoid MRI's of the head because they also make me really dizzy. So dizzy I cannot walk afterwards for hours and I do mean hours. It is a terrible feeling. I have been diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines and I also have Meneirs Disease. I am here for you if you just need someone to talk to. This vertigo really sucks but the worst for me is the pressure and the sharp intense stabbing pains through my head I get.
