help .hearing loss with screeching in every noise i hear

i went to a concert 8 monhts ago and had a sudden permanent hearing loss in my left ear. i dont mind the hearing loss as much as the constant screeching and squealing noises that go through my ear every time i hear a noise.2 doctors said theres nothing u can do but never did any test but the beeping in the ear test.who else can i turn to ???? these doctors were eye ear throat doctors.is there anything i can do? also i would rather be deaf in this ear than hear these horrid distortions that i hear..i know thats probably ridicioulous but is there any way just to rid total hearing in that ear and use the right considering whatever hearing i have is causing screeching anyways? any answers or suggestions would be great.
