AND AM CURRANTLY TAKING DYAZIDE ON A DAILY BASIS. BUT THE ONLY
THING THAT HAS CURED MY DIZZY PROBLEM IS DOING THE NECK EXERCISES.

Re: I Think I Cured My Dizziness!!!

...I have Meniere's and BPPV. The exercises you mentioned are very similar to the exercize done for BPPV (positional vertigo). The only way I can tell if it's my Meniere's or BPPV acting up is by doing these exercises. So congratulations on your discovery and too bad you had to discover this on your own.

Re: I Think I Cured My Dizziness!!!

    Hi All,

I was told by my Dr. that I have menieres but I'm not sure that I really do because I don't have the true spinning vertigo. I have a constant feeling of lightheadedness.

My question is does anyone with menieres have pain in their ears? I have never heard of this but I have a burning pain in my ear that goes down my neck and the side of my face. My ear problem is on a cycle where one day it is full of pressure and feels quite uncomfortable. Then the next day the pressure is gone but it burns like a fire. Has anyone else ever had this?

I am going to try the neck exercises and see if that helps. Hope everyone is feeling well and thank you for any insight you can give me.

    Jill

Re: I Think I Cured My Dizziness!!!

    Hi Jill,

Saw you were on the boards and just wanted to say hello. The burning in my ear hasn't been that bad the past two weeks. My vision's really bothering me though.

I started the antidepressant this past week and it has made me feel a little ill. I'm trying to stick it out as I think it may help me feel a little better.

Are you still doing good with the tinnitus. You said the last time it was almost gone?

Just wanted to let you know that that test that they said you had meniere's in your left ear, I believe Howie posted once that his was positive too and doesn't have the spinning and hearing loss either. It has been a long time with your current doctor, have you thought about switching doctors? Is that an option with your insurance? Perhaps you can have that test done again.

I've been doing some similar neck exercises and it has really helped with my sore neck and some of the tension.

Take care Jill. I'm praying for you as I know you hit your two year mark. Something gotta change soon. If your tinnitus is still improving....remember that is a good sign.

    Gloria

    Hi Gloria,

I'm sorry your vision is still bothering you but I'm glad you are sticking it out with the Zoloft. I'm sure it will help. I am going to see a neurologist in December and I hope I can get some answers.

I'm having a hard time dealing with this again, crying everyday again. I just don't know where to turn for help anymore. This is driving me absolutely crazy. I have a lot of tension in my neck too and hope the neck exercises help.

Thanks again for the prayers and I am praying for you too.
    Jill

PS Yes, my tinnitus is still improving. Your right that is a good sign.
