| Eyes trembling
In my most acute state, I feel queasy/no appetite, my eyes feel like they are trembling and my head feels like it is vibrating (eye muscles?) behind my forehead. This came on slowly and I started to notice the more I used my eyes, the more "off" I felt. At night, I felt the need to hold my closed eyelids and had trouble falling/staying asleep. I have found that if I take .25 mg Xanax every 4 hrs during the day, I feel pretty good and the trembling has calmed (but returns when I am off the Xanax for 48 hrs.) If I take the Xanax every 6 hrs, The vibrating returns when I try to drive. I have no nystagmus but the caloric testing did not produce any spinning sensation in my left ear (did produce profound spinning when administered in the right ear.). Clean MRI, spinal tap, extensive blood work.
Does this sound familiar to anyone. I have been to several specialists. Is there a well-known neuro-otologist in the NJ/NYC area?
