    Epley worked after 3 tries

First I tried it t home, then my ear specialist I. BPPV tried it- not until the third try did it work. Hooray. I think the difference is - I was definitely full symptomatic w/ 3rd try. When I went to the dr. 4 days had passed before I could get into his office. Anyone else experience this?.....

I have had the Epley a number of times and it usually works every time for me. I had it done again a little over a week ago but it was done by a different doctor and he did it a lot different. He left me in the positions on each side for a good 20 to 30 minutes each side. Then he wanted me to wear a neck collar for a week and told me to sleep sitting up the first 2 nights then to sleep on the opposite side from my vertigo for a week and of coarse, do NOT bend over that week.

It did get rid of the vertigo but now I have the nausea and have had it ever since.. I have BPPV and also MAV. I been fighting this mess for going into my 4th year! With me it morphs from one thing into something else, as I get rid of one symptom, a new one appears.... anything from the nausea, to what I call loss of the center of gravity, can't be in bright lights (florescent lights for sure!), vertigo, light headed, stumble and stagger when I walk.... like I said, it keeps changing on me..

I DO have a brief periods where I am symptom free, I enjoy those days but they never last.
