    Re: IC no pain?

IC is an autoimmune disease, and it flares and remits.
Have you been diagnosed as of yet?

I don't have it, but it was suspect that I did with my continuing symptoms over the span of a year. I had spasming, cloudy urine sometimes with infection other times not. It started when I had a bladder infection after I was cathertised for a surgery.

The urologist said that there is an autoimmune link with UC (which I have), but cystoscopy showed no IC. Interestingly, after the scope I never had symptoms after that, which I think was possibly because of the water used during the procedure and flushed out whatever might have been causing symptoms.

My cat had it....her symptoms flared with bleeding, frequent urination and extreme pain spasming. Sometimes she had infection, other times not. When not flaring, things were good.
