    Unhappy IC. Pain pressure and urge to go help!!

    Hi new here just diagnosed with IC because no UTI . Iíve had several uti I was told and now I thought I had a uti but turned out to be IC! Iím so stressed and donít know what to take to help with these pains inside and urges to go all day :what meds do you recommend ?? How did I get this ? Also was told I have pelvic floor disorder ?

    so much pain and pressure and just tired from all the pain and sad 😞 please help ! Also just had an ovary and cyst removed two weeks ago . Will this stuff maybe go away after I totally heal ?

    Did you have a bladder scope or ultrasound to determine if you have IC?

    You have a LOT to deal with in a very small area.
    You mention surgery...they would have catheterised you...it's possible some irritation from that. Have you had urine culture test done and not just a strip test done? I strongly suggest you push for that.
    Are you having bleeding?

    Regarding pelvic floor dysfunction, consider referral to physio specialist.
    The medication dicyclomine is helpful for bladder spasming.

    I went through a year of sometimes UTI and other times not after tubal ligation and the catheterisation. I eventually had a cyctoscopy because it was expected I had IC...but I didnt. Surprisingly, the scope seemed yo wash out a possible irritant and Ive never had an issue since.
