    IBS-D colonoscopy question

I have IBS-d. I recently started having lower left quadrant pain with gas, bloating and very loud stomach noises. Sometimes there is no pain and sometimes it's about an 8 (pain level) and really really bad. I had a CT scan and they said there was nothing different than last time. Will a colonoscopy show more? They have tried every test possible and can't find a thing.

Hi...a visual, aka c-scope, is definitely best.

Is it during a specific time of day?

Have you had your ovaries checked?

Seems like I'm ok in the morning (even with breakfast) But after lunch, it starts hurting VERY bad. I'm eating very light too. Yes, ovaries are all good after vaginal ultrasound.

I will ask for a colonoscopy. Thank you

A c-scope is best...in the meantime, keep a journal of food / drink / med and supplement intake and times of your discomfort.

    Hope you find answers.

Please keep us updated on how you're doing.

You could try a probiotic to see if that helps.
