Unhappy help!! :( i havent posted anything in quite some time. i've been to 3 different GI doctors..ive had blood tests done for everything..and the only thing that came back positive was lactose intolerance. ive done the breath test to double check the blood test and it came back positive as well. ive had an ultra sound of my pancreas, gaul bladder and liver and all 3 looked normal. ive had a colonoscopy done and everything checked out normal including the biopsys. so basically the best answer ive received was a horrible IBS and lactose intolerance. i take anywhere from 8-14 imodium pills a day because of the diarrhea issue i always have. its usually worse in the mornings and gets better after i take the imodium pills. i know its probably not good for my body with me taking so many of them but its the only thing i find that works. i dont eat anything with lactose in it. at all. which sucks and its very hard especially when going out to eat. i'm at my wits end! lol.

my grandmother went to have some tests done and she was talking to the lady who takes your blood and she is in her mid thirties and she has the same exact issues that im having, and she said that she requested to have her gaul bladder taken out. her doctor tried to talk her out of it and she insisted that it was taken out. ever since the lady's gaul bladder has been out, she hasnt had one diarrhea spell since.

so my question is..does the gaul bladder cause any of my issues that im experiencing? does my gaul bladder need to be in my body in order for me to live? i currently dont have health insurance so i havent been to the GI or even my primary doctor since mid june, so of course i haven't asked the doctor. but i figured some additional advice from others would be helpful before i go spend an arm and a leg at the doctor's office.

thanks for reading advice would be so greatly appreciated.
