Advice Please

Can someone please help? I have always had what I call a "sensitive stomach", I eat something spicy it will cause upset, I eat something too greasy, it causes upset, I get nervous it causes upset, etc.... Well a few year ago I went to a gastro doc because I was experiencing slight discomfort in my abdomen on the left side along with GERD. He put me Omeprazole for 3 months and I lost weight and was cured. Well, I have gained alot of weight again and have noticed the pain is back. I have also noticed that I get alot of bloating, and just overall abdominal discomfort. I have always been able to have bowel movements with no problem, usually going about 2-4 times a day. However, now I go about 4 times a day and my belly is always uncomfortable whether I eat or no around my belly button and higher. I don't want to go back to the gastro doc becuase I cant' afford the tests he always wants to do. I tried 3 months on the Omeprazole and it helped for the first month, but now it feels like it hasn't done anything. I am getting worried, but also wondering if this sounds like IBS. I have always suspected I might have it. Anyone have any ideas or advice? Thank you!
