Oh Lordy, those table clothes reek. I use to buy them for our picnic table and even outside they stunk to the high heavens.... Some of these chemicals used can't be good for us....JJ....

Hi some things outgas there smell for a while until there seems to be less stink but actually according to a source I read they can still put out inperceptible amounts of gases still.

They say polyvinyl chloride also present in some plastics can cause cancer. They said that the factories that make these plastics have workers who tend to get more cancers and the states that seem to have the most of these have more cancers in the areas surrounding the factories. They call these states the cancer belt. This probably results from chemicals coming out of smoke stacks as well. This may land on food and greenery for cattle. I would wash the veges well. In theory the animals may have contentrated chemicals in their livers and flesh and aught not to be eaten. They certainly also get cancer and tuberculosis and pass it to the rest of people when eaten regardless of cause their cancer, but chemicals in the environment don't likely help it any.

I also have skunk smells off 'n on around. Besides though, I've heard that the hard plastic 'electronics & much more' packaging, do have a chemical (?), emitting dangerous fumes. I'll ckeck into observing more, when 'that' skunk smell comes to me. Eventhough I may have to ask my husband if he smells it too, for a start.
