Question kidney problem x-ray shows a spot or ?

I been having bladder infections a lot in the last year. They finally had me go in and have a sonagram and x-ray. This show a spot or something. So now I have to go in and have dye put in and a CTscan. Has anyone else had this kind of problem. All I been doing is scaring myself to death by looking up kidney problems.

Re: kidney problem x-ray shows a spot or ?

I think that if you are keeping in touch with your doctor's office, making appointments & following through with the results you may be better off NOT reading about kidney problems. For example, there is a kidney healthboard, but I'm wondering if you chose the relationship board because you are looking for reassurance?

Everyone is different! When my dad was sick my brother & sisters were like you. And there I was, looking up every single possibililty.
We were both right - they were the type that dealt with everything as it came up.
I had the big picture and was more ready for whatever happened.

Hang in there and I know this sounds stupid, but stay busy and help someone else. It will keep your mind off of yourself more right now.
Let us know how it turns out, ok????

You should post this on another board. This doesn't belong on the Relationship board.

It probably will be moved by a moderator.

Is the "spot"on your lungs? Do you smoke?

where is the spot? they may need to re-take the test x-rays..because it could be a shadow or undevelope tissue....usally if the Dr thinks it something bad they will do a biospy....but remember the eariler the detection the faster they can take care of it...modern medcine works wonders.
I wish you well...good luck.

You could simply have a cyst, which is no big deal at all.
