Stone Passed but Dull Ache

After 11 weeks I passed my kidney stone at long last over the weekend. The question I have is I still have a mild dull ache in both kidneys. Is this normal and if so how long should I expect it to last before it goes away? I spoke to the urologist after I passed the stone two days back and he said to give it a few days to settle down.
