Nocturnal Pain in Lower Back Relieved with Urination

I have been having pain in my lower to mid back at night. The pain is relieved if I get up and urinate. It feels like there is an electrical shock going through my back when I breath and the pain, like I said only goes away after I go to the bathroom. I have had an ultrasound done and they didn't find anything. Any help would be much appreciated. I have had this for a couple of years but seems to be getting worse. I feel like my doctor thinks that I am crazy.
