Chronic kidney pain w/blood
I am a 30 year old female. For the last 6 years I have had about 20 kidney stones in my left kidney only. The first time I had them the basket retrieval method was used, since then I have passed them on my own. For the last 7 months I have had severe chronic pain in my left kidney, red blood cells are at 15, I also have CA oxalate crystals present, calcium is at 301, no infection, protein is 123. These are all from a 24 hr. urine and blood draw. I've been on Percocet, Oxycontin, & Lexapro. I have 2 stones in the left side currently but none have been blocking. About a month ago the pain started off and on in the right kidney, no stones on that side. I used to eat large quantities of Vitamin C from childhood until my kidney problems began. Averaging 6,000mg a day - it was like candy, mom and dad said it was good for me. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my chronic pain now, but I'm not sure how much longer I can do this. Doctor visit after doctor visit over the last 7 months has yet to give me a diagnosis. My doctor still thinks I tore something in my back. I don't know what's wrong with these guys - doesn't seem like any of them listen to their patients. I don't know what to do.
Sincerely,
At the end of her rope.
