pain in right calf

My gf is on hemo-dialysis 48yr old ..2nd yr, and today she said she can barely walk because her right calf, hurts, she said it was because her blood pressure dropped low,.. and it takes all day to get better.. why does this affect her right calf, and makes it hard for her to walk. she walks kind of stiff legged ... why? is this happening?? ..brent

Some folks get cramps while on hemo. It has to do with the sudden drop in potassium and sodium during the treatment. Also with the change in fluid levels. Has she talked to the nephrologist about what to do about it? It never happened to me, so I don't know the solution.
