    Meniscus Injury?

Roughly 3 weeks ago I injured my left knee playing softball. I rested my knee for 2 weeks and saw zero improvement. I typically have general soreness in my knees from years of sports but this is a different type of pain that is always there. I am experiencing the below symptoms and was hoping for some insight or thoughts if it sounds like a meniscus injury or something else.

    - pain behind my knee at all times
    - sharp pain radiates to the sides/front (below my kneecap) most times when walking, bending, kneeling or locking my knee back straight.
    - stiffness and pain after sitting or having my knee in a bent position
    - did not experience noticeable swelling immediately following the injury or since then.

I know meniscus injury symptoms can vary. Has anyone had similar symptoms and if so what was the verdict?
