    Re: Hello all

Hi hotweather! My wife has osteoarthritis, and other damage, in both knees. She gets one injection of Synvisc-Oneģ (hylan G-F 20), in each knee, every six months, and it significantly decreases her knee pain and allows her to walk without much discomfort. She also ices her knees every day.

    Arthritic flareup in knee

I am in a lot of continuous pain in my knee and down my shinbones from fluid which started 3 weeks ago. I can hardly sleep and even on strong meds nothing is helping. Has anyone else heard of the fluid going down the shinbone to the ankle. I have to have an X-ray next week to see what is causing it . I am 79 and have osteoarthritis. Thanks
