Question THR and effect on scoliosis

    Hi,
I would like to hear from people who have had a hip replacement with scoliosis. That is, you already knew you had scoliosis prior to the joint replacement. How did the surgery impact the scoliosis? Did you discuss this with the surgeon beforehand? How was the scoliosis taken into consideration when planning the surgery? I need a hip replacement, but I guess I'm apprehensive that I may trade a hip pain for a back pain!
Much thanks to anyone who can share their experience and insight.
