Osteochondral Allograft rehab week 2
So 2 weeks post-op an osteochondral allograft transplant. Had 2 spots-one in the medial trochlea and one on the posterior medial condyle (about 10mmx19mm). Currently TTWB for the next 2 weeks then WBAT after that. Did enough research and am a PT/ATC that I'm going to go for a little longer or TTWB/NWB before testing this thing, probably 4-6 weeks then ease into weightbearing with one crutch followed by a cane.
Bottom line everyone that gets to this point has a f**cked up knee and depending on where your lesions are, how big they are, how your mechanics are, everybody's going to have a different experience. Fortunately having gone through 5 previous surgeries, pain is a part of life so how's the pain now? Well, at rest 0/10. During therapy/CPM 3-4/10 at the most. The big test is when I finally put weight on this.

Good luck with whatever unfortunate situation you have to deal with yourself.
