PRK - One Eye Blury / Can't See Far

I had PRK done on 01/09 and have been told that PRK takes longer to heal from and regain visibility. The procedure was painful and uncomfortable (to be expected) but by day 3 my vision started getting better. By day 4 my vision was ‘ok’ and I returned to work on day 5. It was at this time that I started noticing that my left eye is very blurry, just as bad – if not worse that before the surgery, while my right eye is very clear (almost like when I wore contacts or glasses).

I went for my 1-week follow-up (yesterday day 5) and they said that everything is healing up ok and I informed them of the situation and they said that PRK just takes time to heal and sometimes the eyes heal at a different rate.

    My questions –
Is there anyone out there that has experienced this – where one eye takes longer to heal from PRK?
Should I just be patient? I have a follow-up in another 2 weeks but the surgeon said I could schedule an appointment with her if I have any ‘doubts’.

I have read a lot of threads of one eye being better than the other after surgery but did not find anywhere the poster follows up in to say ‘yes’ my vision got better with time. (what I am hoping to hear from someone).

Is it normal for one eye to heal faster than another? One of my eyes feels perfect and the other is very blurry. Today is day 6 after PRK surgery.
