Lasik after lens implant, now VERY blurry vision
6 months ago I had a lens replacement on 1 eye with a Panoptix lens. 5 months later I had YAG to address cloudiness, which helped. My sight was never crisp and I had a shadow effect on letters at varying distances so the dr recommended/performed Lasik 8 days ago. At the follow up appointment the next day, I had extremely blurry vision and it hasn't yet improved. He said that because this Lasik was to address farsightedness (which he hadn't explained previously), that 95% of patients will not have better vision for 1-3 months (and he contrasted this with 95% of the other types of Lasik patients having good results within 24 hours). I can't find anything regarding these stats and I'm terrified that my eyesight is shot. Prior to Lasik I was pleased with the distance and could also read, but now I can't even make out the license plate of the car in front of me at a stop light and reading, watching TV is terribly annoying. I'm also wondering if he sacrificed distance without explaining that to me. I would love to hear thoughts on this and wonder if anyone out there has experienced something similar.
