Is it ok to rub your eyes 4 months post lasik?

Hi, I am 4 months post Lasik as well and I haven't rubbed my eyes consciously yet. I have caught myself doing it a few times in my sleep and nothing has happened. I think it's probably ok to rub them at this point, but I wouldn't do it too often and I would try to do it lightly because yes, your eyes are still healing. The corners of my eyes itch a lot and rub there without a problem but the actual lid I try to avoid just to be safe.

Hating glasses

If I remember correctly it was either 4 or 8 weeks post-op that the docs frown upon rubbing. It seems to me that I have been rubbing my eyes since maybe even a month post op. I am 2 years and 2 months post-op. So, just be gentle. Don't rub it like you are trying to get a stain out of the carpet. Just, be gentle.

Slapstick

If you rub it, rub downwards since the flap is a U shape... and rub lightly!!! i'm about 4 mthns post op and havn't rubbed yet... just light brushing.
