Touch Up / Enhancement experience

I was wondering if someone could share their experience with "Touch-Ups" or "Enhancements" between 3-6 months after the initial surgery. I am almost sure that I will need one for my right eye (if not both), in fact, my doc had already prepared me for this. I am curious to know if they really do help significantly, and how extensive that procedure is compared to the first one, also with regards to the recovery and eye drop regimen etc...

Re: Touch Up / Enhancement experience

I had an enhancement in my right eye 7 months after the initial surgery, and then in my left eye 3 months later. It made a huge difference in the quality of my sight, and I am very happy I chose to go ahead with the enhancements.
As far as the procedure itself goes, it is still surgery, but not as traumatic for your eyes, since they don't have to use the suction ring. It is only a matter of "lifting" the original flap and using the laser again. I was a little apprehensive when the flap was lifted, but it was a piece of cake. Also, the laser didn't have to be used as long as the original procedure. Even though your eyes still need the normal healing time, and lots of eyedrops, the surgeon told me that the healing would actually seem easier, as there was not as much tissue removed with the enhancement as there is with the initial surgery.
If you are not quite satisfied with the initial results, I would highly recommend the enhancement surgery!
