Hi i haven't posted on this ld board before i was wondering i have a son that was diag. when he was about 7 with a nvld and he is now 14 we to make a long story short we ended up homeschooling him it was great for him he was relaxed ect. but i got burnt out i have an aspergers son and a dd with ocd. any way we put(all of our kids in school) our 14 yr back in school had him retested and now they say he doesn't have nvld that the gaps have closed i do not beleave this at all i see his struggles i got him up to grade level by homeschooling one on one atn. and hands on and nooo stress and st his pace it went really great i just got soo burnt out can this happen can they really grow out of a learning disability?? i don't see it i just called the school and am making them give us a new iep meeting any way any input would be welcomed!!!
