biliary dyskinesia for 17 yr old

yorkieloveroo7 Junior Member (female) Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: modesto, ca Posts: 42	biliary dyskinesia for 17 yr old My daughter 17 and has been having alot of right upper quandrant pain, they did a hida scan and it showed her gallbladder does not release like it should (22% retraction) they have scheduled surgery to remover her gallbladder. What cause this to happen? She has had several other intesinal blockages and i hate to put her through another surgery. What are the pros and cons of surgery?
