Check that you're not zinc deficient - do your finger nails have white marks, this indicates zinc shortage - research it online. Low zinc causes high copper, which increases ammonia.

Make sure there are no nasties in your vitamins & other supplements. Some of them have hydrogenated oils, soybean oils etc. Please research hydrogenated oils/partially hydrogenated oils. I have read that they are oxidating to the liver.

My Chiropractor is putting me on whole foods vitamins. It's been about 3 weeks now since I've known my liver is only working 50 percent. I'm on this green drink now too. Everything I'm on is green. It has actually started to activate my liver a bit. It is so hard to stay away from things I love like melted cheese & Triscuits. I buy the Smart Balance margarine & that's not supposed to have any hydrogenated oils. And I over-do it with olive oil at times!
