Yes it is very possible. I have a cyst on my liver along with a fatty liver. I first had an ultra sound, then a CT scan, and several other tests. All of the test showed was that my liver was fatty and enlarged. It wasn't until I had a MRI that the cyst showed up. If I were you I would really push for a MRI and avoid going through all of the other tests. Good luck! I hope all turns out good for you!
