Concerned Wife

Recently (6 weeks) my husband complained of pain in his right side. He did have an ultrasound done, and it showed his liver was inflamed by 30%. He had a second ultra sound done and will get the results when he goes to see the doctor on Tues. He has lost a significant amount of weight (over the holidays family members really noticed) and he looks really tired all the time.

I am so nervous to find out what is going on, his mother died of liver desease and my husband drinks a lot on the weekend. I have noticed he is urinating more than usual.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Re: Concerned Wife

losing weight, when not on a diet, is nearly always an indicator of something wrong. it maybe minor but is an alert to be seen by a doc.
I had a friend who was a large person - weighed about 330 lbs. they said his liver was fatty and enlarged to 50% - yet never had a problem. They took his gall bladder out and he was fine.

As for the urination please make sure, which I am sure that he does, prostate and diabetes disease.
