Hi, I'm new to this thread. I had a blood test this past week because my cardiologist asked for a check up and turns out my AST is 47 and my ALT is 15 (normal). This past January I had the same test: my AST was 18 at the time and my ALT was 15 as well. In only 3 months my AST nearly tripled! I don't drink alcohol and I'm 7.5kg (I think in lbs would be 16) overweight. I actually lost weight since January. Does anybody know what it might be? I'm worried it might be something really bad. Everything I looked up online (from hepatitis to fat liver and from tumors to liver cancer) is not good
