    Question Lyme Disease

I'm looking for help. I'm currently being treated with amoxicillin for Lyme from an infectious disease doctor.

My history is~ injections at FP office Thursday in Sept. Saturday ICU treated for Guillain Barre IVIG. On the road to recovery until I. January my blood pressure was 190/130. Merry go round of doctors. 3 positive markers on western blot. Now being treated for Lyme.

    Re: Lyme Disease

You need to be seeing a lyme disease specialist an LLMD - lyme literate medical doctor. No other type of doc, including infectious disease docs, will know how to properly treat you. Amoxicillin is not going to do it for you.

I hope you can find the help you need soon.

    Re: Lyme Disease

Amoxicillin made me very very ill even after stopping treatment. I think Amoxicillin at the bottom of recommended abx for treating the early or late stages of lyme disease.
