bad sweat smell without abx!

i am not on any abx, but when i sweat in my sleep, the sweat has a terrible odor that lingers in sheets, but when i sweat when i'm hot or normally when i am awake, the sweat doesnt smell, i was wondering why the sweat in sleep smells, i dont think anything is dying since i'm not on abx, just wondering if any of you had any input, and also how do you know if the night sweats and chills in deep sleep are actually a fever? thanks for any help,

Hi Radha21,
Are you taking anything to help you sleep at night? Some medications I've tried for sleep have given me night sweats and also some pretty crazy nightmares. Also hormone imbalances can give you night sweats. I don't know what the smelly stuff is all about. Maybe someone else can give some imput on that.

Radha21, Babesiosis can cause smelly sweat and night sweats.

Perspiration can be much more productive at night while the body is at rest resulting in deeper detoxification.

no i dont take any sleep meds, and can babesiosis cause symptoms even years after being infected, not symptoms right away, but years later? thanks for any input, and for replying,

Hi Radha21. I know that Lyme symptoms can emerge well after an infection, so I would think the co-infections could also. I think it is possible your immune system may have been keeping it at bay until it became additionally stressed in some way or the infection became stronger.

I would agree with ticker and add that in the two years I have been disabled my sweat, urine and bowels have all smelt(is smelt a word?)worse. Now in the last 2 months on abx I have had absolutly no oder at all. I will also mention that I think I have been infected since 1990 and did not become disabled until two years ago after bout with depression.

thanks so so much for replying i really appreciate the input!! its so hard when you have so many questions and no one to give me the answers since there are no specialists close by and i cant travel at all, thanks again, i wish there was something i could take to help the herx and then i could take some abx,, but now just cannot tolerate getting even worse since i have such low bp and other autonomic problems, thanks again,
