Dating and Lyme... What are the risks?

I am wondering what happens for lyme patients that are single and have to date.

Is it safe to date when you know you have lyme? Should you date?

Can you have casual contact such as kissing without exposing the other person?

Is fair to date? As a lyme patient knowing what this does to a person, would it be selfish in our own needs to have someone?

Maybe we need to date lyme patients only, and if so, when is our next singles dance. ?

Hope you all understand my concerns, and needs...

I was told it is not sexual transmitted. So you don't have to date just Lyme patients but dance away!

[COLOR="SeaGreen"][B][I]WEll think the verdict is all out still on weather it is transmittable or not...and in my thoughts it all depends on the other persons immune system....but then you think well if people can contract other bacterias just from breathing the air of someone infected...then why not lyme too....I must say I did NOT know what I had...all doctors said it wasn't lyme.... I have wondered since I have gotten smarter about this how many have I passed it on sweetie now SEEMS to be okay....

But if were ONLY dancing....shouldn't be anything to worry about

I think the key to the transmission of the disease is the onset of the flu like illness in the very beginning. It knocks the organ systems offline and allows the bacteria enough time to gets "its foot in the door" so to speak.

While maybe the bacteria is transferred from person to person during intimacy, I don't think its enough to manifest the onset of the disease.
