VCS-test and blurry vision

Hi all,
I have some questions about the VCS-tests (visual contrast sensitivity-test); has anyone of you taken that test? The blurry vision is one of the symptoms that bothers my son much these days, and I am looking for some way to measure this problem. May be this VCS-test can be used? I understand that it is somehow linked to neurotoxin levels, but then also linked to Lyme (and Babesia)? If vision improves after some months of abx treatment, then it would be nice to be able to document this to the MDs, who don't know anything about such visual disturbances....

Re: VCS-test and blurry vision

Hi Gebe, The doctor I saw that treated me for lyme did this test on me. Basically we were just trying to find some way to cover his rear for treating me. I was one of those that had bands show but no positive test.

Now this was years ago but from what I remember it really didn't do him any good except to say "yep" I had problems with my eyes...I can't realy remember what it all entailed except looking through a little hole.

So bascially I don't know really what imformation this can give any doctor except you have blurry vision.

I hope you find answers soon...
