What are the best holistic remedies to treat Lyme's?

Hi everyone,

I thought maybe it would be a good idea to have people post in detail which natural treatments have worked for them? Maybe this info can help people who are infected but can't find a doctor who will treat them. Also, for people who are on antibiotics, what natural remedies are okay to take and which ones aren't?

Thanks everyone!

Andrographis Paniculata and daily detox baths worked best for me.

After following this protocol for two years, I finally got my immune system strong enough to show IGM responses to three strains of Lyme, Babesia and Ehrlichia.

Re: What are the best holistic remedies to treat Lyme's?

I have alot of pain associated with my lyme disease. For the most part my symtoms have been more nuerological - bells palsy, stroke systems, pressure in my head, neck, and behind my eye and severe pain in my legs and trouble with my balance. It seemed to me that before I was put on the antibiotics, I was taking Magnesium and Bromelain at pretty significant doses in addition to the vitamin C and B-12 and that really seemed to help me. But to be honest, I have had my most significant relief from my pain since I have been on the antibiotics. I am still experiencing pain but I guess it's more in cycles now instead of constant. Thumbs up on your desire to help people who suffer with Lyme. Based on my experiences with this disease, there is such a tremendous need for people with a heart to help.

I would have to say abx helped in the beginning to get my bacterial load down, but wasn't the answer to getting me back to 100%. As far as natural treatments go, I used the Salt/C protocol, a few herbs, lots of vitamins/minerals, and have recently started MMS and Iodine supplementation...which is helping a lot.
