Lymph node problems for 2 months almost

Almost 2 months ago I got sick and the two lymph nodes behind each of my ears became very swollen/painful/tender and bothered me for days. After a few days the swelling went down, but i can still feel discomfort in the node behind my left ear almost daily. It's not swollen i think, but it feels heavy and im constantly rubbing it. I poked it a lot when it was swollen btw.

My concerns are that it has been troubling me for nearly 2 months and the doctor didnt seem too concerned. My bloodwork came back seemingly good. I dont think its allergy related. Im just wondering if its normal to be able to still feel a node after infection. I can still feel it there. It doesnt particularly hurt but it sometimes feels heavy and annoying. Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian
