    Lymphadenopathy

I wanted to know if it is normal to have palpable nodes that are about 1 centimeter and there be no underlying problems for them being palpable?? No other symptoms other than a sometimes sore neck here and there.. I guess what I'm directly asking is "are palpable but not enlarged (noticeable) nodes normal in smaller people? Or does it still mean there is or was some kind of infection?
