I am concerned I have lymphoma, leukemia or some other type of undiagnosed cancer.
On August 20th I woke up with severe all over body aches. The illness had 3 phases. The body aches lasted 2 weeks. I then developed severe burning pain up and down my spine and lower back that lasted 2 weeks. The spine and lower back pain then turned into more of an arthritic pain for 2 weeks.
A few weeks later I was diagnosed with an eye inflammation called uveitis. Uveitis is rare and only 8 out of 100,000 people are diagnosed with it. The ophthalmologist prescribed eye drops which resolved the inflammation.
I am also concerned I am untinentionally losing weight, although my drop in weight is only about 3 pounds. I normally weight 110 lbs.
I am concerned the illnesses are a signal that there is a much larger illness going on in my body.
My internist feels that I have health anxiety. My blood work is completely normal, including esr sed rate and crp. I also had a normal chest x ray.
Any thoughts on whether I should pursue additional testing would be appreciated.

Re: Concerned I have Lymphoma
If your symptoms were caused by lymphoma/leukaemia, the blood work would have definitely been abnormal. Have you been tested for auto immune disorders such as thyroiditis or fibromalgia? Anxiety can also cause these symptoms. Cheers, Sera

Re: Concerned I have Lymphoma
Thanks so much for your quick response Seraph.
My thyroid functions were good. I will be seeing a Rheumatologist on Friday to discuss my symptoms and see if any further testing should be done.
I also admit to having health anxiety, which I am working on.
