 Worried about 18 year old sons enlarged lymph node

I posted back in Dec. and did not get any responses, but I thought I would try again.
At the beginning of Dec. my son showed me a lymph node under his chin about the size of a small grape. At the time, he was in the middle of a very bad acne break out. Within a day, two more nodes showed up right next to eachother. Within a week the first node went down in size and all three were about the size of peas. I took him to the Dr. and he was convinced it was from an acne infection. He gave him an antibiotic. It's now 2 1/2 months later and two of the nodes are gone but the first one remains, about the size of a small pea. His acne break outs still come and go. He has no other symptoms. The node is very moveable. How long do lymph nodes take to go back to normal? I work in the medical field, so you can imagine what my mind is doing.
