Sharp pain in side of head

Anyone else who is in peri-meno ever get sharp pains on the side of their head? I have been heavy bleeding for 20 days now, wondering if this might be associated??

Yes, it's possible if it's not a norm for you.
If you can take aleve or Motrin it will help, as they are both antiprostaglandin meds.

I have pains like that from my neck ,, and mostly on the left side. But when I used to get my period, they were on the right side. Weird.

Hope you get relief.

Thank you for responding. Just curious if it could be blood vessels out of whack during the bleeding bc of hormones. Such a fun time of life!

Zeldated...how is your blood pressure? You could discuss it with your doctor and he/she will hopefully do testing related to that.

I've thought of blood pressure as well. Mine typically runs pretty low, so not sure if that could restrict vessels during a flow? Of course I imagine an aneurism or tumor , but figure I'd have more symptoms than intermittent pain. I hope anyways.

Of course our mind goes the the worst case scenario when something is out of the ordinary...but it probably runs a mental scan of all possibilities as well.

Do you have an appt with your doctor?
